Residence Answers:

1. What if I am single and want to have a roommate?
     No problem. However anyone living at Wyndholme Village must be a signatory to the purchase contract.

2. Can residents decorate their own residences?
     Yes. You can decorate it any way you like, as this is your own private home.

3. Can I have physical alterations made to my residence?
     Yes, in most cases. All changes must be approved by Wyndholme and paid for by you, using approved contractors.

4. What emergency features does my residence have?
     Wyndholme Village is designed specifically for deaf, hard-of-hearing and hearing residents using the latest technology in deaf communications and interior design. For hearing seniors, this is an excellent feature as often as people age, they find that their hearing deteriorates.

5. What are the kitchens like?
     The kitchens feature a no-wax floor, quality wood-faced cabinets, a Formica counter top, a double-bowl stainless steel sink with single-lever faucet, a counter top electric range, a built-in microwave and a self-cleaning oven.

6. What appliances are included in my residence?
     All residences feature a refrigerator with through-the-door water and ice maker, a dishwasher, microwave, oven, a counter-top electric range, garbage disposal and a stacked washer and dryer.

7. What are the bathroom(s) like?
     The bathroom(s) feature non-skid tile floors, a simulated-marble sink top with vanity, a built-in medicine cabinet with fixed plate mirror, a fiberglass shower/tub combination for easy access, complete with grab bars and a non-skid bottom. Some bathrooms have a shower and not a bathtub.

8. In my residence, do the windows open and have screens?
     Yes. However some windows are very big and are fixed panels. Any doors that open to the outside will have screens also.

9. What about controls for heating and air-conditioning?
     Each residence has it’s own individual thermostat.

10. Are balconies or patios available?
     Yes, the choice is yours depending on your choice of model.

11. How is trash handled?
     Easy-to-use trash chutes are located on each floor.

12. What choices do I have to make in my residence?
     The builder has carefully selected all materials to make the residence appear neutral in color.

13. Is cable television available?
     Yes. And you only pay for the upgrade services you elect to receive.
