Please accept my apology for not posting last week's update
for Wyndholme Village.
Albina Watson, (Aunt De De), my mother's sister who the Watson
House was named in honor of, was called from this earth on Friday, January 28, 2000.
Albina lived with her son, Joe and his family for a long time.
She was deaf and suffered from loss of her sight as well as her memory. Joe and his wife
Debbie had to face the difficult decision of moving her to a nursing home, so she could
receive the proper and necessary care.
Despite a winter snowstorm, the Mass celebrated to welcome her
into God's open arms was attended by all of her family and numerous friends. A lasting
memory I have of my Aunt De De was her positive disposition. Despite not being able to
hear or see... whenever someone paid her a visit, she always had a smile on her face.
Even though storm clouds are still over Wyndholme Village
making the future look bleak, when I ask for guidance and the strength to proceed, I can
now see my Aunt smiling down on me.
Next Monday the sun just might be shining. I'll let you know. If you have questions or comments please FAX them to my office
at 410-644-5165.
Sincerely,
James M. Lancelotta
