Happy New Year to All!
I would like to update everyone on what has been happening
since the holidays and since our last message on the Wyndholme
Village website.
First of all, to conserve our resources all activities for
January are postponed to February and we have closed the office
until that time. The Future Residents will have their monthly
meeting on Friday, January 26 but if the weather gets bad, we will
let everyone know about a new date quickly.
Some very positive news developed recently which we
mentioned on the website last week. Jim Macfadden is a friend of
mine for over 30 years. When I told him about our problems at
Wyndholme, he immediately volunteered to help. He is a very
successful businessman and has connections with several potential
lenders.
He arranged for Jim Lancelotta to meet with a large
institutional lender to obtain financing. Jim Lancelotta, Bill
Braughton, John Veach, an executive with Macfadden & Associates
and Jim Macfadden, met with two top executives representing the
lender on Friday, January 5, 2001. According to Jim Lancelotta, the
results of the meeting appeared very positive and a decision from
the lender is expected before January 12, 2001
We are making every effort to make Wyndholme Village
succeed and are very grateful not only to Jim Macfadden who put up
considerable funds and effort already, but also to Harry Tremaine
who has for many years wholeheartedly supported Wyndholme both
financially and spiritually.
Jim Macfadden has decided to become a partner along with
Harry Tremaine in Wyndholme Village, LLC and there exists a limited
opportunity for others as well. If you or others are interested,
please email Jim Lancelotta at .
We are also so very pleased that the Future Residents are
determined to stay with us and fulfill their dream of living at
Wyndholme.
We plan to keep you informed via the web page as usual
once something concrete has developed. Please visit our web page
frequently as we intend to put up news at least once a week. If you
have any questions, ideas, or concerns, please e-mail me .
I will be more than happy to answer you.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
