As scheduled, the hearing requested by Leeds
Federal Savings Bank, (a creditor of Wyndholme Village, LLC) took place
today, September 19, at 2 o'clock in the United States Bankruptcy Court
for the District of Maryland.
With the active support of the deaf
community and the commitment made by the members of the Founder's Club
of Wyndholme Village, Jim Lancelotta the managing partner of Wyndholme
Village, LLC successfully negotiated terms with all of the creditors,
just hours prior to the hearing.
With everyone in agreement, the court
requested Wyndholme to file a "Plan of Reorganization"
incorporating the agreed upon terms and conditions by Monday, September
25, 2000. Once the "plan" is filed, specific information will
be available as to the future of Wyndholme Village.
Jim Lancelotta stated after the event,
"It went extremely well, was well received, and to avoid any
confusion, I plan to post on this web site, all of the details, terms
and conditions of the plan once it is filed with the court. I want to
thank everyone for their interest and support! Your efforts are making
this happen. Wyndholme will soon be a reality!
