Mr. Bill Luckan, a volunteer from AARP started his lecture by
sharing all the existing brochures of what AARP has to offer to
members such as monthly magazine called "Modern
Maturity" and newsletter "Bulletin" that gives
members information on various articles and services available
through AARP. Topics also included automobile, home, life and
health insurance, income tax assistance, and travel discounts.
Pamphlets were distributed at the meeting. |

Mr. Louis Schwarz, a certified financial planner discussed
the importance of preparing for retirement. He also covered
various topics such as types of investments, bonds and stocks.
Tax advantages of contributions also were discussed. He
emphasized that each individual should plan ahead and be financially
comfortable when retired. |
